Hey there! I’m Matt Kenyon, and I love making music, making friends, and helping people succeed.
Here are a few essential bullet points:
- I started the Composer Code podcast in 2017 as an excuse to talk to my favorite composers and help the composition community succeed. Interviews are sporadic and infrequent.
- I make all sorts of music, from indie pop to folk hymns to video game music (which I compose under the moniker Mathonius).
- In 2021 I released my first online course on the basics of video game composition. You can watch a handful of lessons for free here.
- I have a YouTube channel where I produce video game covers, tutorial videos, and insights on the video game composition business.
- In addition to managing and producing content for Composer Code, I run a digital marketing firm, lead music at my church, and still have time to hang out with my lovely family. Needless to say, life keeps me busy. 🙂
